Buildium is updating their application and will require two factor authentication for access soon. this is to protect you, the tenant. Please see the steps below to update.
To enhance the security of your account and protect your personal information, we are introducing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for our mobile app.
What's changing?
All users will be required to update to the latest version of our app and set up 2FA during login in order to use the manager app moving forward. This added layer of protection helps ensure that only you can access your account—even if someone else knows your password.
What you need to do:
Update your app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Follow the prompts to set up 2FA using your preferred method (e.g., SMS or authenticator app).
Select “Remember this device” if you don't want to enter a code every time you log in from your trusted device or set up biometric logins (such as FaceID or Touch ID) to make login easier.
All tenants need to please opt-in for texting when we send you the message. This makes it easier for you to communicate with us and helps us do the same. Thank you, Rich Laabs - Property Manager
